My lab (swordtail.tamu.edu) is searching for an outstanding scientist with a PhD and excellent command of both English and Spanish, to work on the evolution of behavior in swordtail fishes (Poeciliidae: Xiphophorus). The position is based at TAMU near Houston in College Station, Texas and involves research and outreach there and at CICHAZ (cichaz.org) in the Sierra y Huasteca region of northern Hidalgo state, Mexico.
There are optional opportunities to teach an animal behavior course as primary instructor, and to collaborate elsewhere in Latin America and at the University of Padua, Italy (unipd.it).
